Tania Acevedo -

Tania Acevedo (born 1993) is an Ecuadorian artist with a style of geometric and architectural works.

With only fourteen years she started leading her future into art, investigating and experimenting as much as she could about paintings. At the beginning self-taught, building a portfolio mainly about landscapes, followed by a university career in this field in which she determined the route of her artistic works

Her art consist on paintings and sculptures with geometrical qualities that represent the interaction between architectural design and the aesthetics of the art.

Her continuous exploration of ways to relate her majors, art and architecture, led her to achieve it during her thesis project where the architectural quality of her works was reflected; finding a path in which she was able to express herself through art.

I effort to develop works of art that transcend in the memory of the viewer; at the same time, they represent my interest in geometric forms, perspective and intervention in space. I am interested in generating an area of interconnection between the space we live in and the recreation of my ideas on canvas, combining the sensitivity of art in order to give life to architectural geometry and its components of perspective, scale and dimension.
